Aluminum Electrical Metallic Tubing

Aluminum Electrical Metallic Tubing (EMT), sometimes referred to as “conduit,” is an unthreaded, thin-walled tubing that is connected using clamp-type fittings that slide onto the tubing and are secured with a set-screw.  It is lighter and thinner than RMC, can be installed outdoors, and is relatively easy to bend and cut using normal field methods and tools. Aluminum EMT is UL listed and meets the same code requirements as steel.

Our PullEase aluminum EMT is manufactured with a high purity 6000 series aluminum alloy that ensures excellent strength and exceptional corrosion resistance. It is available in diameters from ½-inch to 4-inches in a wide range of lengths.

Aluminum Rigid Metal Conduit

Aluminum Rigid Metal Conduit (RMC) is a threaded, thick-walled tubing that is connected by screwing connectors to the main tubes. It protects the cables inside from damage, impact, and electromagnetic interference that can harm sensitive equipment. Substituting rigid aluminum conduit for rigid steel can reward you with thousands of dollars of savings on a typical job.

Our aluminum RMC is manufactured with a high purity 6063 alloy, T-1 temper, a “marine grade” alloy that ensures maximum performance in electrical installations. It is available in diameters from ½-inch to 6-inches in a wide range of lengths.
